The Port Clinton Police Department has immediate openings for the position of Police Officer and is accepting lateral transfers.

The Police Department features:

Minimum Requirements:

·         Complete Application

·         There are no Age Restrictions

·         Must Be OPOTA Certified

·         Pass a background investigation

·         Interview with hiring review board

·         Pass Physical Agility Test

Lateral Transfers:

·         Starting pay with 5 years’ experience over $28.00/hour

·         Starting pay with 2 years’ experience over $25.50/hour


·         Start with Vacation time and Health insurance on day 1

·         Ohio Police and Fire pension plan

·         Free College benefit through FOP/OLC
