The Police Department features:

·         Marine Division

·         Drone Program

·         K-9 Program

·         Detective Bureau

·         Dispatch Center

·         Patrol Section

·         County Wide SRT Team

·         Take Home Cruiser (Must reside in City)

Minimum Requirements:

·         Complete Application

·         There are no Age Restrictions

·         Must Be OPOTA Certified

·         Pass a background investigation

·         Interview with hiring review board

·         Pass Physical Agility Test

Lateral Transfers:

·         Starting pay with 5 years’ experience over $32.86/hour

·         Starting pay with 2 years’ experience over $29.79/hour
